“ Nice place, good service and delicious Italian food. We will be back.Didn't rush us and cannoli's were very good. ”
“ A wonderful Friday night date place. Local and small and lovely, with live music played by a man with a soothing voice, singing songs that make me smile. He is very good, and not annoying or loud or obnoxious like some live artists can be. I ordered chicken Marsala, suggested by our server, and Mike ordered beef ravioli . I would take pictures, but this doesn't feel like the kind of place you take pictures of food . The marsala is very good, as is the ravioli. Our server, Megan, not so good. Mike finished his coke and had to ask for another, which we still haven't received. I tried to ask for a box, but she disappeared before I could get it out. Never once checked on us during the meal, mike only was able to grab her attention to ask for the soda refill as she was walking by. So sorry, but she is not going to add anything positive to the review. She did ask if we wanted to see the desserts, and brought the selection fairly quick, so there's that. I won't take anything from the review because of that at this point. Although now she did just go over to take a 7 top's order before bringing my dessert. Oye, on the fence here, again because of Megan. Hope she is not family to the owners. I had to ask a different server to ask our server to make our dessert to go, because it's been too long already. Tsk tsk. We did overall enjoy our meal and the music, so I will make the review about that and stick with 4 Stars ”
“ I was told about this place as a a suitable NE US fillin. Honestly, this is a mom and pop Italian place, each time I have gone I have had great service. This is a place for family. It's casual and comfortable and has live music on the times that I have gone. Food is relative. I am a NYer and have different expectations than others. Overall, it is good. They have a variety of dishes to please everyone. Their sauce is on the sweeter side, with just a hint of sweet. Depending on what you order that can be controlled. They have escargot in a butter wine sauce with spinach, great on the garlic bread they provide. Same with the shrimp with the same sauce. I would go there for just apps and a glass of wine to honest. I have also had the pasta sampler. I enjoyed the cannolini and it has enough savory to off set the sweet sauce. I liked the manicotti, a little plain and could have used some seasoning in the ricotta. The lasagne just did not do it for me. My usual litmus test is the meatballs. They are a good size, tender, well cooked. They have way too much garlic in them and it is enhanced by the oregano. Try them, it is just not for me. A traditional fettuccini is such a simple easy dish to make, I am not sure why everyone tries to make it into a cream based saucy dish with excessive sauce. Same with a traditional carbonara. Here it is a cream based sauce, not in the real world Most of the food that I have had was food, you will have to ask questions and experiment to find what you will enjoy. Oh the filling for the cannoli was really good, and for those that want it gluten free, you can order just the filling!!! Ok desserts were good. Again, I still go as I am learning the menu, the owner is a sweet woman, the staff is great! I have loved the apps I have had. Ask questions to see if how it is prepared is what you want or expect. I recommend it. ”
“ Gianna's Italian Kitchen is a family owned gem in Tomball. The storefront eatery is sort of a classic Italian restaurant design. There is a full bar, lots of wine cabinets, seating around the bar, live music and a party room. The service is friendly and warm. Always attentive. The food is OUTSTANDING! We were here for a birthday party - even for a banquet, they were able to serve filet mignon rare and salmon rare. Both were outstanding. I enjoyed the Caesar salad as well as the broccoli side dish. The real star were the cupcakes and the cake, which were made in house for the birthday boy. Holy geez....I could pass on the pasta and the bread, but this cake was heavenly. The wine list is also VERY impressive and VERY reasonable. Heck! If I were in Houston, I would come just for the wine...and maybe some cake. I highly recommend this delightful restaurant. While it is not an architectural star, the service, food and wine are where it is at. ”
“ Tasha was our server. she paired my wine perfectly with my meal the service was fast, and the food was excellent. I came back here for the veal which I had had on a previous visit to go and it was just as good as I remembered the first time. Excellent very nice environment. We will be back as regulars. ”
“ Twice is two weeks...I ordered a Protein packed delicious salad with fruit. So healthy, loaded with Balsamic Vingrette. Hubs had Chicken Alfredo and his daughter and little bit the same. We were so sad to hear Cesar's twin brother had passed away, but the restaurant had a love sign board made in memory of his brother and customer's signed it. I am so thankful we went that weekend. This place has delicious food and music and is great for date nights, groups and business meetings and birthdays. Best Fried cheese sticks ever!!!!! ”
